Rehoming Of Racehorses
Here at Green Ridge we feel strongly about finding our horses forever homes when their racing career comes to an end. We are lucky enough to have found many of our horses loving homes to continue their career down a different path.
DESTINADO
Destinado, also known as “Nardo” was in training with us for just under two years where he recorded 9 wins for the stable and owners Deva Racing. Throughout his time at Green Ridge he was looked after and ridden at home as well as on the racetrack by our stable Amateur, Teagan Padgett. In September 2025 the decision was made to retire him from racing, and Teagan was delighted to have him giving him a forever home.
ALLMANKIND
Allmankind was incredibly successful during his racing career, winning six Graded races for owners, including the Grade 1 Henry VIII Novices' Chase and winning three races for us during his P2P and Hunterchase career.
Known as "allman" by his new owner, Alex, he is living a well-earned retirement from racing among lots of other horses. Alex was his long-term racing groom at his previous yard, and we are delighted that they could be reunited.
BRIDGE NORTH
Bridge North retired from racing in February 2026 at the age of 10, after a successful career in National Hunt racing. Now known as "Sonny" by new owners, he is settling in brilliantly, and we look forward to seeing his journey into becoming a riding horse at his forever home.
